The Treasure Coast Astronomical Society is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, registered with the State of Florida. We are a group of amateur astronomers who are dedicated to the enjoyment and study of the night sky. Some members began meeting in 1981 and we incorporated in 2004.
Our principal purpose is to stimulate an interest in astronomy by others and to continue to foster their interest and to promote continued active participation in astronomy by club members and the public at large by:

	Hold monthly meetings with speakers and planetarium shows;
	Continue to participate at the planetarium shows;
	Have monthly star parties;
	Continue to develop outreach programs;
	Encourage community involvement in our programs; and
	Continue volunteering club members time to share the joys and beauty that is astronomy.
